1. What are you looking forward to or waiting for right now?
2. Do you ever feel like you are waiting for God’s kingdom to come to you or come to earth?
3. Read Luke 17:20-21. In answering the Pharisees’ question, what does Jesus say about the kingdom – as to when, how or where it is?
4. Does Jesus view the kingdom as an inward, spiritual reality within people? Or an outward, social manifestation among them? Or is he speaking of their failure to recognize who he is?
5. What does it mean to miss the kingdom? What does it look like to realize the kingdom?
6. Read Matthew 5:16. How does letting your light shine relate to the kingdom?
