Freedom from Shame (Easy English)

My heart is broken to hear stories of people who kill themselves when they are caught doing something wrong. A leader in Asia was caught stealing money. He shamed his country. He shamed his family. He shamed his name. He said the only way to act was to kill himself.

I am sad when many people do the same as this leader. They have great fear they will shame their family. They are afraid they will not be successful. Their fear of shame stops them from wanting to do great things. They will not do anything new. They do not want to fail. When they do fail then they want to hurt themselves. They believe that they cannot live with the shame.

I know One who will take away your shame. He will give you a new life. His name is Jesus Christ.

God the Father wants you to do what He tells you to do. When you do not do what He wants then it is called, “sin.” When you sin you shame God. When you sin you shame your family. When you sin you shame yourself. Sin will lead you to death. God the Father does not want you to die. He sent Jesus Christ, God’s Son, to die in your place. Jesus Christ died so that you will not have to die for your sins. He wants you to love God the FatherJesus wants you to accept his gift of life. He wants you to give all your heart and mind to serve Him. If you give yourself to Jesus Christ then you will live with God the Father in heaven. Jesus will take away your shame. Jesus will give you a new life. You will live in freedom.

You can move from shame to a new life. You must ask Jesus to forgive you of your sins. You must give your heart and mind to Jesus. You must serve Jesus as your Master. He will take away your shame. He will make you new. He will give you a new life.

When you follow Jesus you will bring honor to your family. Jesus will walk with you. Jesus will tell you how to act. Jesus will give you life in heaven for all time.

Please pray with me if you want to move from shame to new life..

“Dear Jesus, please forgive me for not obeying you. I give my heart and mind to you. Please take away my shame. Please give me new life. Thank you.”
