Nehemiah (Part 4)

This passage reflects on overcoming discouragement through a Christ-centered perspective. Drawing on Paul’s resolve to boast in weakness so that Christ’s power may rest on him, the speaker connects this to Nehemiah’s rebuilding: the wall reached half its height because the people worked with all their heart. Discouragement is real, but it does not have to win. The call is to stop surrendering to it and take action. Even when circumstances feel overwhelming, there is always a next faithful step. As people who trust God’s strength in our weakness, we can be infused with courage to move forward.
