Find Real Truth (Easy English)

Many people want to tell you how you should act. They tell you how you should think. Other people will tell you that you must listen only to your heart. They say that you should not listen to the words of others.

But, are they speaking truth to you? They act like they know the truth. What they say looks like it might be the truth. But you do not know if their truth is real. The problem with listening only to your heart is you do not know the truth. What you like one day may bring you joy. But, the next day you may lose joy. What seems good one day may seem bad the next day.

Do you follow people if their truth seems good today? Do you do only what feels good to you? These questions do not give you the truth. You must find someone who knows the truth that comes from God. I know this person. His name is Jesus Christ.

Jesus said that He is truth. Jesus said that if you obey His words then you will know the truth. God’s truth is real every day. God’s truth is for every person. God’s truth is for every tribe and leader. God’s truth never fails. If you want God’s truth then you must follow Jesus. Jesus said that He and God are one. Jesus was perfect.

God the Father wants you to obey His truth. When you do not obey then it is called, “sin.” Sin will lead you to death. God the Father does not want you to die. He sent Jesus Christ, God’s Son, to die in your place. Jesus Christ died so you will not have to die for your sins. He wants you to love God the Father. Jesus wants you to accept His gift of life. He wants you to give all your heart and mind to God the Father. When you know Jesus then you know God. When you know Jesus you will know the truth.

Jesus is truth. If you obey Jesus each day you then you will know the truth. Jesus will teach you how to act. Jesus will teach you how to think. When you obey Jesus you will find joy. The truth that comes from Jesus will never fail you. The truth that comes from Jesus is good every time.
