When You Trip up

Author: Dave Arnold

The little girl was put to bed. She had said her prayers and was ready to go to sleep.

During the night she fell out of bed. The next morning, she related this to her mother.

“How did it happen?” asked her concerned mother.

“I don’t know, mommy,” she replied, “unless I stayed too close to the place where I got in.” 1

Psalm 37:24, “And even though you trip up, you will not fall on your face because He holds you by the hand.” (The Voice Bible)

“I believe in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I believe that Jesus died for my sins, and rose again, and that’s my belief. I still don’t know what ‘Christian’ means. I’m a follower of Christ, but I keep making a whole bunch of mistakes. And I thank God for forgiveness.” 2
