Jump into the Deep end of an Extraordinary Life!

Author: Angela Craig

Albert Einstein wrote: “The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious. It is the fundamental emotion that stands at the cradle of true art…”

At first glance, the mystery of a bronze sculpture caught my attention. At a distance, I thought it might be a ram’s horn but I wasn’t certain. There was something else to it. The unknown of the piece drew me to investigate further. I realized as I approached that it was a human figure. The name at the bottom read: Umbral by artist Olivia Guzman. I was enchanted by the mystery of this sculpture.

The English word for umbral is threshold or cliff diver.
