God is Always There

I was driving home from work the other day in my wonderful one-hour commute, and I had the privilege of seeing the sunrise. In that brief moment of my life, I realized something. God is always there.
He Never Leaves
You see, as I passed by the buildings and trees along the expressway, the sun occasionally became blocked. Just because I couldn’t see the sun didn’t mean that it wasn’t there. In the times
of our lives when we don’t feel the warmth of Jesus shining on us, it doesn’t mean that He isn’t there. It simply means that something is blocking the Son. Maybe it’s that new Xbox 360 or it’s the fact that all of your teachers assigned research projects for the same day.
Whatever may be blocking God’s warmth from you, God says that He will never leave us. For even when we are faithless, He is faithful (II Tim. 2:13). We can’t let the distractions in our lives take our focus from the Creator, for without the Son, we die.
Next time you don’t feel God, it doesn’t mean that He is not there working for you. Take a moment to examine your life and run to Him. He’s always there.
