Day 246: God is God

Today’s Scripture: Psalm 46:10

Central Thought: Take time to get to know God-as God.

The Bible tells us God is ever mindful of us and that He never changes. In our hurry-up, busy lives we must take the time to realize who God is and that the great I AM is our own Heavenly Father.

I have told God often that I am so thankful He does not grow old, move away, or die. He never changes.

God called Moses up on a mountain top so Moses could just spend time with Him. The people Moses was leading got into a lot of trouble while he was gone, but God did not tell him to rush back. God desired his child to spend time with Him. Our Heavenly Father, the Creator of all, desires to spend time with us. We must be willing to allow Him to do so.

Devotional Prayer: Father, I come to You in the name of Jesus to thank You that You love me and mine and that You are the stable force in my life. Thank You for being unchanging. I desire to spend more time with You so I can know You better.
