Day 152: God’s Word-Our Guide

Today’s Scripture: Psalm 119:130

Central Thought: Knowing and understanding God’s Word is a light to guide our life.

All the way through Psalm 119, the writer talks of how wonderful God’s Word is. Psalm 119:105 refers to His Word as ‘a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” God’s Word will guide us all the way through life to help us find God’s plan and path for each day in every area of life.

Psalm 119:11 indicates that the writer hid God’s Word in his heart so he would not sin against God. God’s Word helps us to know Him. We can learn His likes and dislikes as we learn His will. May we always obey Him and keep His law.

Devotional Prayer: Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus and thank You for Your Word that is a light for me each day. I love You and desire to be obedient to Your Word.
