Faith Walk: Trusting Our Creator

Many times we wake up in the middle of the night full of worry and fear about the future.

We worry about those things that we cannot control. It is interesting that as God’s creation, we must learn to trust the creator. Some people say, “Show me and I will trust you.” God says, “Trust me and I will show you.” Rather than thinking our way through our worry we must obey. We must lean on, rely on, rest in, surrender to, depend on and relax in God’s presence. We can always trust our unknown future to a known God. Proverbs 3:5,6: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” God says to us today, “Trust me, I have everything under control.”
