Faith Walk: Trivial vs. Significant

Author: Dr. George Flattery

It has been written, “Learning to ignore things is one of the great paths to peace.”

As we journey throughout the day, let us distinguish between the trivial and the significant. If we do not, we will find ourselves living our lives from problem to problem and not focusing on what is important. Let us not let the pressures or problems or people in our lives steal our joy. Let us not waste any more of our time trying to explain ourselves to people who are committed to misunderstanding or rejecting us. Sometimes we just need to walk away in saying, “this is not worth my time.” “Father, help us, Oh Lord, to focus on what is important and walk past what is not. May we experience your peace today – a peace that passes all understanding.”

Daily encouragements reminding us how to continually walk in faith. Taken from Dr. George Flattery's Facebook devotional series.
