Faith Walk: Share Your Pain

It has been written that the mystery of God’s love is not that our pain is taken away, but that God first wants to share that pain with us.

When we hurt emotionally, let us remember that we have a God who understands. He grieves with us when we weep. He is always with us. We are not alone. Let us remember that He has a plan for us. God is not in heaven, wringing his hands and muttering, “What is a God to do?” Let us remember that God will help us. David tells us in Psalms 34:18, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” God says that we are never closer to him than when we suffer.
