Faith Walk: Seasons of Challenge
Author: Dr. George FlatteryViktor Frankl, a concentration camp survivor, once wrote, “Everything can be taken from a man but one thing: To choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s way.”
When walk we walk through seasons of challenge, there is a temptation to walk by our feelings instead of walking by faith. Pain is inevitable but misery is optional. We have a choice. Are we going to trust God or trust in our feelings? Are we going to choose joy instead of despair? Are we going to be grateful instead of living in discontentment? Are we going to forgive instead of living in bitterness? It is our choice. Our choices create our present reality and our future hope. Let us choose wisely on this day.
