Faith Walk: Refuge for Us

God is a refuge for us in times of pressure and stress.

David writes in Psalms 91:4, “He will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find refuge.” God says to us today, “Let me shelter you for a time. Let me provide a refuge from all of those angry people you are dealing with, those frightening medical reports, those overwhelming financial needs, from other people who do not understand you.” Psalms 62:8, “Pour out your hearts to God, for he is a refuge for us.” We don’t repress or hide our feelings, but we release them and give them to God. “God, I am hurting. This is hard to deal with.” God is always, always, a safe place for us in our time of need.
