Faith Walk: Life of Gratitude
Author: Dr. George FlatteryThere is a calmness and quiet joy in living a life that is filled with gratitude.
When things are not going well and everything seems to be falling apart, we can stop and be grateful, not for what we do not have but for what we do have, not for what we cannot do but for what we can do. In our darkness hour, let us give thanks, for the morning will come. Perhaps we could start this week by being grateful for the things we sometimes take for granted: A hot cup of coffee, family and friends (and a God) who loves us and the ability to see, hear and walk. If the only prayer we said today was, “Thank you,” that would be enough.
