Faith Walk: Keep Faith Simple

Author: Dr. George Flattery

Albert Einstein once said, “If you cannot explain it to a six-year-old, you do not understand it yourself.”

Most of the times the deeper things of life are found in simplicity. Simplicity does not imply that something is not profound, only that it is easily understood and applied. God is calling us to keep our faith simple. Our world and culture are so complex that people are longing and searching for something that is going to simplify their lives. The religious leaders during the time of Jesus had developed a complicated system of 613 laws. A man asked Jesus, “Which of the commandments is the greatest?” Jesus responded by saying, “Love God and love people.” Let us not reduce God to a set of theologies and divine formulas but simply seek to love Him and love others and everything else will fall into place.

Daily encouragements reminding us how to continually walk in faith. Taken from Dr. George Flattery's Facebook devotional series.
