Faith Walk: He Always Listens

Many times we do not feel like praying because we think that we have to pray in a way that will impress God.

Richard Foster wrote, “In the same way that a child cannot draw a bad picture so a child of God cannot offer a bad prayer.” Jesus depicted prayer as something like a child approaching a loving parent. Our prayers do not have to be eloquent or fancy to be effective. God loves us before or beyond anything we can ever do or say. God treasures every one of our prayers. Let us come to Him today in simplicity, knowing that God loves us and never stops listening.
