Faith Walk: God’s Promises

Author: Dr. George Flattery

A woman who had been sick for 12 years comes up behind Jesus and touches his cloak and is instantly healed.

The word “touched” means to “fasten oneself to, to not let go.” When we have a need, we are reach out to Jesus and not let go. We are to be persistent in our prayers. God is not like an old man who is hard of hearing. We do not have to beg or nag God into an answer. God hears us and wants to meet our needs. Isaiah 62:7 encourages us to pray and give God “no rest.” We keep on praying because God is working behind the scenes to make it happen. It does not matter how long it takes, God will fulfill his promises.

Daily encouragements reminding us how to continually walk in faith. Taken from Dr. George Flattery's Facebook devotional series.
