Faith Walk: Confusion About His WillAuthor: Dr. George Flattery
More than anything else, we seek God’s will for our lives.
God’s will is not found with our feelings because our feelings can be unreliable. God’s will is not found in a formula where we follow a step by step guide. God’s will is found in a relationship with Him. The better we get to know God, the less confusion we will have about what His will is. We pray not to have our will be done but that God’s will might be done in us. God’s plans for us are better than any plans we have for ourselves. Let us not be afraid of God’s will, even if it’s different from ours. “Father, work your perfect will in our lives. We will go where you want us to go and say what you want us to say. Our lives are in your hands. We love you, Lord. Amen.”
