Day 244: Walking by Faith

Today’s Scripture: 2 Corinthians 5:7

Central Thought: We have confidence in God for this life as well as the life to come.

We, as Christians, must walk in total confidence in our Heavenly Father because He cares for us tenderly and watchfully (1 Peter 5:7). We are not alone. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords is on our side, and He is always with us. Matthew 10:30 tells us that He even knows the number of hairs we have on our head. He knows more about us than we do about ourselves.

We can and must trust Him. If we do so, we will not be afraid even when things in our lives are not going right. Even in the difficult times, we will conduct our lives from a place of confidence in Him knowing He has a good plan for us here and an even better plan for us in Heaven.

Devotional Prayer: Father, I come before You in the name of Jesus desiring to trust You in every area of my life. I ask You to help me trust You more as I read Your Word and get to know You better.
