Dr. J.C. Holsinger is Professor of History Emeritus, Evangel University, Springfield, Missouri. He began teaching at Evangel in 1971. His subjects include World Civilization; Renaissance and Reformation; British History; 19th Century Europe; and 20th Century Europe. Dr. Holsinger served as the founder-developer of CHI ALPHA which now has over 200 chapters on university campuses. Also, he was one of the founders of DELTA KAPPA a university organization to honor public service. He earned his doctorate in history at Temple University in Philadelphia, and his master's and bachelor's degrees in history at the University of Pittsburgh.
