Faith Walk: Honest with God
Author: Dr. George FlatterySometimes when we pray, we know that we should be praying about world peace, revival in our country and the needs of others.
But our minds keep buzzing with the “smaller” things of life: How are going to get the heater fixed or our planned visit to the doctor, something someone said at work or the way we have been offended by a careless remark. Prayer principle: We must first begin praying with what is really on our mind and then move on to those things that we “should be praying about.” Let us not try to clean up our motives before we pray, or sound more spiritual than we are right now. God understands.
